Wellington Show Young Woman Competition

This event (formerly known as the Showgirl competition) is an exciting program
aimed at finding a young female ambassador to represent Wellington during her
term as the “Wellington Show Young Woman 2026”.

The competition provides the winner with exciting opportunities in her role as
Wellington’s Young Woman ambassador, including personal etiquette training
and public speaking development.

The winner of the Wellington Show Young Woman 2026 title will participate in
zone final judging against other town’s finalists to win through to the Sydney
Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman 2026 Finals. You could win more than
$11,000 in prizes.

About the Judging
Wellington Show Young Woman 2026 entrants will be judged on personality,
presentation, confidence, general and rural knowledge, community involvement
and ambitions/goals.

Entrants must be aged from 18 years to less than 26 years as at 1st May
2027.

Judging day 9th May 2026. The Winner and Runner-up will be announced and
sashed at the Official Opening on Saturday 16th May.
